We are pleased to share the opening of Correspondências, a group exhibition including works by Priscila Rooxo at Centro Municipal de Arte Hélio Oiticica, Rio de Janeiro.
Paintings, sculptures, installations, prints, videos, photo collages, and objects make up the exhibition, which brings together artists from Nova Iguaçu, São João de Meriti, Belford Roxo, Magé, Guapimirim, and Mesquita. These works draw on diverse experiences but find common ground in themes such as identity, ancestry, Blackness, territory, religiosity, motherhood, violence, family, daily life, and urban mobility.
Opening 07 November, Correspondências will be on view until 02 January 2027.
