We’re honored to share that Daniela Ângelo is one of the seven finalists of the 2027 EDP New Artists Award!
Ângelo’s work focuses on the appropriation of everyday objects and museum collections to resignify and rehearse new narratives that question the mechanisms of knowledge production and collective memory. Daniela Ângelo selects objects programmatically, isolated from external references and portrayed in a surrealist atmosphere, through rigorous light work that allows their sculptural qualities to crystallize.
