We are pleased to share the opening of You and Me and the Others, a solo exhibition by Alfredo Jaar at Pinacoteca do Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil.
Pinacoteca do Ceará presents one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of Chilean artist Alfredo Jaar to be held in Brazil, curated by Moacir dos Anjos. Over nearly five decades, Jaar has explored how images produce and contest relations of power, bringing to light the political mechanisms that shape their circulation, visibility, and erasure.
You and I and the Others brings together 16 works produced between the 1980s and 2026, including some of the artist’s most celebrated immersive installations, alongside new works created especially for the museum.
