We are pleased to share the opening of Other Spaces, a group exhibition including works by Helena Almeida at MACAM, Lisbon.
Part of the programme line that shapes MACAM's concept of The House of Private Collections, this exhibition focuses on the extensive body of photography within the private collection of Américo Marques. The interest of this Portuguese collector in a specific medium of the visual arts has brought together a set of works that reflects the breadth of thematic approaches and traces some of the most significant shifts in contemporary photography, from the late 1950s to the present day.
Opening 30 May, Other Spaces will be on view until 26 October 2026.
