We look forward to next week’s opening of Plants & People, a group exhibition at Musée d’arts de Nantes, featuring Karlos Gil’s Stay Gold (Red).
With works drawn from the Frac de Pays de la Loire public collection, the exhibition opens January 30th 2026 and will be on view until January 3rd 2027.
Born out of a desire to renew the historic collaborations between their collections, the Nantes Museum of Art and the Frac Pays de la Loire are jointly designing a cross-exhibition that will take shape in both institutions. Titled “Plants and People”, it juxtaposes historical and contemporary works—photographs, drawings, sculptures, paintings—exploring the place of living things in our relationship with the world.
