We are pleased to share the opening of Some Stories [Algumas Histórias], a solo exhibition by Vasco Araújo at Fundação Leal Rios, Lisbon.
As José Bértolo writes, Vasco Araújo is a storyteller who uses fiction as a way of thinking through reality, exploring how stories — both ancient and contemporary — shape individual and collective identities. The exhibition Some Stories highlights this narrative impulse at the heart of his work, bringing together four video pieces that are, each in their own way, meditations on the symbolic power of storytelling.
Opening next Thursday, 29 January between 6 and 10 pm, Some Stories will be on view until June 2026.
