Galeria Francisco Fino is pleased to present 9OP01 by Diogo Evangelista, a display installation where three individual works share the same floor for the first time. The booth unfolds as an exhibition-like script and the works acquire a dialogical dimension foregrounded by the linoleum checkered floor carrying the viewers into a sensorial playact. The black-and-white floor conjures a liminal state that draws on sets of oppositions that run through all three works: life/death; matter/spirit; reason/emotion. This ritualistic flooring positions the viewers in an hypnotic time/space ensorcelled by each work.
